Vigil for Peace

Thank you to all those from this parish and from around the Salford Deanery who came along to our Vigil for Peace last night. Please keep up your prayers for peace in these troubled times.
Sacramental Programmes launch this weekend!

Our First Holy Communion and Junior Reception Programmes launch at all Masses this weekend (20th/21st September). The children will be formally "presented" to the people of the parish - let us keep them all, and their families, in our prayers as they embark upon this wonderful journey!
New Sacramental Programmes

Our new First Holy Communion Programme launches this coming week, introduced at meetings in our primary schools, which will be followed by a meeting at Holy Cross Church for those not in our schools or otherwise not able to attend. The Junior Reception Programme launches the following week and others will be announced soon afterwards.
Parish Pilgrimage

Coming up on Sunday 21st September, 2-4.30pm, for the Jubilee Year:
A Parish Pilgrimage to St John Fisher Shrine, Manchester Road, Kearsley, BL4 8QQ, easily accessed by car, by 22 bus, or even on foot - a 5.4 mile walk from Eccles if you would like to make the most of the pilgrimage experience.
