Our new First Holy Communion Programme launches this coming week, introduced at meetings in our primary schools, which will be followed by a meeting at Holy Cross Church for those not in our schools or otherwise not able to attend. The Junior Reception Programme launches the following week and others will be announced soon afterwards.
First Holy Communion
Meetings for parents/carers of Baptised Catholic children in Y3 upwards will be as follows:
- St Mary's Primary School on Tuesday 9th September, 2.50pm
- Holy Cross & All Saints Primary School on Wednesday 10th September at 2.30pm
- St Gilbert's Promary School on Tuesday 16th September at 2.45pm
- Holy Cross Church on Wednesday 17th September at 6.30pm
You are asked, please, to attend just one of these meetings, whichever is the most convenient.
Junior Reception Programme
Meeting for parents/carers of children aged 7-13 who are not baptised Catholic but who wish to be received into the Catholic church:
- Holy Cross Church on Thursday 18th September at 6.30pm

Confirmation
A letter will go out in the next week or so inviting application from parents of children in Y8 upwards.
